Frequently Asked Questions
Question: Can I run my Option 5 pedal with a daisy chained 9 volt
supply?
Answer: You can if you own the Destination Rotation Single,
Destination Overdrive II or Destination Phase. The original Destination
Rotation and Destination Overdrive will not run on 9 volts OR a daisy chain.
Question: Which of your pedals are true bypass?
Answer: The Destination Rotation Single and Destination Overdrive II
are true bypass.
Question: Where should I place my Destination Rotation Single in the
effects chain?
Answer: A good idea is to place it following all effects except for delays
and reverbs. Overdrive, Wah and other effects that would normally be placed
before an amp should also preceed the DR Single. When you plug into an amp,
the sound from the amp is then reverberated or echoed off of items in a room
and the walls itself, correct? That is why the owner's manual states that the
DR Single should be imagined as if it were the rotating speaker cabinet itself.
The manual also states that you are encouraged to experiment... so, have fun!
Question: Can my Destination Rotation be modified to sound like or become a
Destination Rotation Single?
Answer: No, the DR Single has a lot of similarities to the original
DR but the PC boards are not interchangable. Also, the original DR will not fit
into the DR Single size chassis.
