Hello, my name is Jay Woods. I am the owner of Option 5. My electronics
experience began when I was about 5. When I was 13, I started playing guitar.
Only 2 years later, my electronics hobby would be reignited when I bought
a terrible sounding distortion pedal from a friend. My guitar playing at that
time was bad enough... I didn't need the help of a bad sounding distortion to
help it along in the wrong direction! That is when I decided to start building
my own effects pedals. Through the years I have gained lots of experience with audio electronics. My love for designing things led me to repairs and tube amp mods. All I had to do was mod a few tube amps and fix a few pedals and soon I was repairing all the electronics for all the music stores in Fort Wayne, Indiana. Meanwhile, I had finished with a great version of my Destination Overdrive and started visiting guitar shows. There I started selling my pedals. Eventually word caught on outside of my home town. By this time, I had people calling and ordering. Magazines were calling me to let them do reviews! Then, the Destination Rotation came about. What a winner! Famous guys calling my house/shop and wanting a DR for themselves. More Magazine reviews. And now with the way paved by the foundations built from the Destination Overdrive and the Destination Rotation, make way for the all new Destination Rotation Single! If not for anything else, I am certain that I will go down in history as the "Boutique Leslie Simulator Guy!"
